This is another Hyotan Bag. In this picture, you can see how the handles are attached to the body. How clever! This is a very minimalistic approach and it provides the best shape. The fabric features Bangasa, a traditional Japanese umbrella made of bamboo and paper. It looks as if the umbrellas are floating on the surface of a river. The contrast between the reddish lining and purplish body is absolutely beautiful.
