This adorable fabric must have been a children`s kimono for "Shichigosan," that is a series of celebrations for kids when they turn 3, 5, and 7. They put on a kimono and visit a shrine and participate in special ceremonies. The fabric of the lining is a green dotted pattern on white cotton. Drawstring bags are very common in Japan and are very practical.
